Best colleges for conservation/natural resources?

What are the best resources (e.g. community colleges?) for people who want to learn the basics of design? What programs are the most useful?

  • I would especially like to learn how to make creative infographics. Not necessarily looking to become a full time designer, just incorporate several of their more "basic" skills.

I would study those two texts in depth, because if understood correctly you will have a decent, comprehensive understanding of what constitutes design.

I would recommend starting with the fundermental of communicating data visually. I would suggest a must have book by Edward R Tufte.
