What's a good minor for a business student?

What is Better: Studying in US with a Education Loan or Building Startup into a Business along with a Day Job in India in next 2-7years?

  • In general opinion from my friends, it is easier to choose US studies as it promises good returns for self after loan repayment.However after that loan, student get into real world and it again takes loans to settle well in his life at US only as he/she doesn't return to India mostly. Instead, if other person builds a small start-up into a Business by facing lot of difficulties in  India, then it creates benefits for self as well as for other unfortunate people who don't have good work opportunities in India. As per your understanding, whats the Good Wise Decision with pros and cons , If someone has to Make this critical decision in this phase of Age (25)? As  I believe true happiness comes from helping others,not from running in rat circles for self only, because ultimately we all go  empty hand from this world.

    Choosing to help people does not depend on choosing entrepreneurship over a job. You can help others in either context if you are committed to doing so. Maybe you should test run an idea you have for a business and see if the idea has customers. You will also discover whether you have the desire and commitment to grow the business. After a while you can choose whether you should shut down and try the option of studying or continue with the business. You will learn many new things either way.

My dream was always to study in america i mean education in america is like the best this world can offer. I know it would take someone's entire Life's saving to afford an education there and a big risk 2. The same goes for starting a business u need to invest a lot and even after all the investment u put in u r never guaranteed a safer future ahead. Risk in both is the same but I'd opt for education in america it is always what I wanted although with a very huge loan to carry forward but its what I wanted so I'd be happy with it. If starting a business is what u always dreamt of then do that. Do what u want love what u do.
