Is there a Mac time tracker that can export to Quickbooks for Windows (IIF file)?
-
I have to use QB Windows using Parallels thanks to their buggy software for tracking time in Mac. But I want to continue to track time in Mac so I don't have to always run Windows. So I'd like to find a small app that can export time & job information to an IIF file, allowing me to import it to Quickbooks Pro 2011 for Windows 7. Anyone have any input? My choice would be to *not* have a monthly SAAS type of tool--those get too expensive fast for what I need. Thanks!

Answer:
If you are comfortable rolling your sleeves up to do a bit of AppleScripting, the QuickBooks IIF files are a very simple TSV format. You literally just plug in the values and you're good to go.
