What is the difference between an information scientist and data scientist?

• I recently came across a terminology called information scientist and I was wondering how are they different from Data scientists.

  information scientist: Is an interdisciplinary field primarily concerned with the analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, movement, and dissemination of information. In the 21st century, the activity of locating, processing and management of information is by using computers and computer networks (especially the Internet). Their main work is the management of information (a growing field in hi-tech companies nowadays). Data scientist: On the other hand, data science is the study of the extraction of knowledge from data, yet the key word is science. It incorporates varying elements and builds on techniques and theories from many fields, including signal processing, mathematics, probability models, machine learning, computer programming, statistics, data engineering, pattern recognition and learning, visualization, uncertainty modeling, data warehousing, and high performance computing with the goal of extracting meaning from data and creating data products.
