Which one is a better profile in the long run: SAP functional consultant with any of the Indian IT company or Risk Advisory profile with one the Big 4? Why? How do I decide between the two?

Hi, If I look back to my peers who started as SAP Funkies 'vs' Risk consulting (I started in risk) then I have a few observations. Those who started in SAP are more likely to still be working in SAP. Those still working in SAP, many are contractors/independents now. Those starting in risk consulting have a broader range of careers now and a greater proportion have reached senior management positions. Both options will give you good career potential. The SAP work will probably be more interesting to start (no requirement to do audits). In risk the interesting work increases with your experience.Good luck !
