Can life emerge from favourable environments on Earth or on the 100's of billions of other habitable zone planets?

Personally I believe in Earthly abiogensis.  Some results, like those shown above, lend evidence to it being possible.  It not scientifically proved, but it seems possible.    Proving panspermia is going to be hard.  We'd have to confirm life on other worlds first, and that has proved to be difficult.  Once we do that, we'd have to prove that these organis could travel and arrive safely on Earth.  And then we'd need to figure out how life started on Mars (or whereever it originated from).   Many people believe that these unlikely events happened as part of a divine plan.  We can't prove this scientifically, but it's an interesting idea.
