How can I prepare for a good interview?

How can I better prepare for an internship interview at hedge fund?

• Hello! I will be interviewing recently with the head of a 200 million hedge fund. They specialize in long short investing in global stocks. I know a lot about value investing because I have read Seth Klarman's margin of safety. I am not an outstanding applicant, but I believe I have some strengths. I am really good in accounting, know how to use bloomberg etc. The problem is that I will graduate in May and thus extremely young and without expertise. I do not understand what the founder saw in my resume to even consider me for a 1 year internship. So my simple question is this: How can I best prepare for the interview? What should I say? How to talk my achievements without sounding cocky ? I come from an average university and getting a job in a hedge fund is simply mind blowing- not only from a financial standpoint but also from a career one. All I know about myself is that I am very good with numbers, I can dozen of companies details, because for some reason I love reading balance sheets and financial statements. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.   Since you're a fresher, the head might not be asking you advanced technical questions. But yes, the basics like company evaluation strategy, industry intelligence, etc. are must.   So one, be prepared with the basics of hedge fund and how it operates. Two, Understand where does the firm (you;re about to join) would fit in the overall picture.
