How to connect to bluetooth device in Java?

Is there a device that allows users to store data and connect to a mobile device via Bluetooth?

  • I am wondering if there is such device just like an sdcard or typical USB flashdisk where you can store your data onto it. But, instead of using an USB cable as connection or being slotted into the device, one simply connects it via bluetooth (preferably bluetooth 4.0). I am asking this is because nowadays more and more mobile devices do not come with an sdcard slot (i.e. Nexus 5). Cloud storage is not a reliable solution when your 3G connection is not fast enough in certain country.

I do not know if my suggestion will help you or not but Sony has recently launched a kind of USB drive for smart phones. The good thing about them are that you can connect them to your phone and to your computer without the need of any extra cables..And also they are easy to carry.
