Currently it's in development hell. Shane Black is reportedly working on the script and potentially slated to direct, but production was reportedly delayed due to disagreements with the studio over whether the film should be written with an R rating or a PG-13 rating in mind. Additionally, Black's co-writing and directing of Iron Man 3 certainly affected the film's production as well.
