How do I make animated GIFs from movies?

Why doesn't Bollywood make movies on historical moments and characters as they make movies in Hollywood like Lincoln, Saving Private Ryan, etc.?

• Hollywood has made wide-ranging movies in this field viz Lincoln, Saving Private Ryan to name a few out of 100s of such great movies. And also Bollywood has resources, there is a target segment of people who are keenly interested in such movies and Indian cinema hasn't made much of an attempt in this regard. So why don't we see any attempt by Bollywood directors/actors in this direction?

  We don't really see any attempts in those directions mainly because of the stupid audience that India has. Most of the people would spend their precious time on movies like Chennai Express, but they'll have to think twice before watching movies like Shahid or Bhaag Milkha Bhaag... You can see the stats in the past years, where the most idiotic movies have earned the most... Since movies are only being made to earn money nowadays, the other fault lies on the directors like Sajid Khan who make movies like Humshakals to just earn money and nothing else...on the other hand hollywood aims to let people know about historical events and the unsung heroes...such movies don't sell if they don't have a big star cast or a banner behind them in India... There are so many interesting events that can be covered for a movie, we've had so many dynasties in India, so many rulers, so many battles...infact we have one of the most richest and diverse histories in the world...Only if someone were to exploit them and make good movies...!
