What are the areas or subjects in computer science that I need to focus upon in order to get a job at Facebook as a software engineer?
-
I have good programming skills and am improving it on daily basis. I have been placed in IBM-GBS from a Tier-2 College in India after completing M.Tech, since very few companies had visited our campus. Is it possible to switch to Facebook after one or two years? What are skills and things do I need to do to fulfill this dream of mine?
-
Answer:
Algorithms and Data structures. You should have these on your finger tips. Anyone can code, these two are what uniquely define computer science graduates.
