Why has no other video streaming website topped youtube even when youtube has the worst playback window?
-
Youtube stops streaming its video when it is paused , it re-streams when you replay. So why is youtube still the best and most used website for video streaming ?
-
Answer:
1. Google bought Youtube when it was in its prime. This meant that it got much better 'represented' on the internet than competing websites. You get youtube results when you google something and this increases the number of visitors to the website. 2. Youtube has kept up with the times. They went HD at the right moment. They added captions, added 3D and other stuff at all the opportune moments. Right now they even have 4K support. 3. Youtube was and is much more personal than all the other websites. It literally is your tube.
