What's the best free online storage site?

  • I'm looking for a place to backup documents and photos (nothing sensitive).  I'm looking for easy uploading, and a site that will not vanish (as Dropboks did).

On Wuala you can trade part of your real space for some portion of its size available for you in the cloud depending how long your computer is up and on the Internet. For example, if you trade 20GB of your storage and your computer is online 12 hours/day (50%), you'll have 10GB of cloud storage. Wuala needs an application for uploading, but it is written in Java and you can start it from the site if your computer has the Java Runtime Environment. SmartBins lets you upload files straight from the browser. But Dropbox is up and running, and it is really simple, try it first.
