How to add calendar events in other calendar in Android?

Why can I not add events in the offline desktop version of Google calendar?

• It seems so much more technically complicated to write and save offline emails than calendar events... So why is it not possible to add a simple event in my browser version of Google Calendar? (offline, yet synched) Or is there a way to do this I have not seen?

  The sad fact of the matter is that has not focused as much of its development efforts on Google Calendar in recent years. It's been almost a decade since its release (in 2006) and it has reached a state of being "good enough" to where it is no longer a priority for the company. Google Calendar is now placed under the division, where it is maintained part-time by an offshore engineering team. That being said, if you are looking for offline add/edit functionality, desktop calendar clients (i.e. , Apple Calendar, ) handle this very well. They sync very nicely with Google Calendar and allow you to make changes when you're offline too.
