    One of the negative effects will be that the child will take longer to understand the differences between the languages, ie, to understand that more than one language is being spoken two them and to be able to tell them apart and to understand which one to use depending on the context. Development in any of these languages may be slightly slowed due to this confusion. Also they may be problems with misspelling due to confusion in the learning phase, between the may language being spoken, and other languages concurring for attention. The positive effects will be: early development of good, near native accent, and early tuning to recognize different phonetics; early development or neural flexibility for dealing with different language structures (the more apart they are, the better), which in turn may indirectly benefit other mental habilities.

I don't think there is any negative impact.  We are all pre programmed to learn at least one language.  As I understand current research, children growing up in multilingual families will use the same part of the brain to learn the languages spoken as children who grow up in monolingual families.  These become the native languages. Learning a language later in life make use of a different part of the brain, that uses the native language as a reference language.  So the theory is that learning multiple languages from birth is better in terms of the fundamental understandings of the languages learned from birth. There used to be a school of thought that suggested bilingualism was bad for children, but this is no longer the accepted view. Sometimes children can reject one or more of the languages being spoken at home if those languages cease to be useful; so depending on the situation, a child may or may not grow up being able to speak more than one language irrespective of how many languages are spoken in the home.
