How can I setup a blog?

How do you setup a blog to start running ads?

  • What I mean is assuming I have lots of pages views etc... how do I go about starting to display, or allocate the space to display, banner ads etc... Is one blogging platform better for this than others? Is one blogging platform more "advertiser ready" than others?

    Look into Google Adsense. It's a great way to start monetizing your blog if you're new to the game. You can embed the AdSense (or any other ad platform) code right into a text widget on the sidebar if you're using Wordpress. It's also possible to embed the code right into the PHP files, but that's more advanced if you don't know what you're doing.
