How can I get rid of facial and body hair?

What kind of treatment is needed to get rid of excessive body and facial hair on females?

• I am 30 years old, I have coarse body hair. I tried laser treatment for facial hair, they were gone for 6 months, now they are back. Is there any treatment that can help me get rid of these hairs permanently? It's very annoying, I have hair like males have.
