Can I Get An RSS Feed For Facebook?

Is it possible to create an RSS feed of a Facebook Group?

  • I'm working with a university client that has both a Facebook page and a Facebook Group, the latter of which gets refreshed every year for the next batch of freshers. The group has to stay, but it obviously means that those who join the group will only see the content if they visit the page, as it won't appear in their newsfeed.   I was wondering whether it was possible to create an RSS feed of the group, so people can subscribe and get regular updates if they wish? Or is there an alternative option?

There is Wallflux (http://www.wallflux.com/) providing a RSS feed that you can use in any feed reader. All you need to know is the ID of the group as given in the URL. However, you probably don't want to rely on another (third party) service and they don't reveal how their system works.
