Can I pursue law (corporate or criminal)? What will be the gestation period after the completion of a degree?

Can I get a steady paying Job? Are there good colleges where I can do degree part time and get License to practice? I am an engineer, working for a data analytics company. I know MBA is the next most taken path but can i get a Job if I do Law degree? How is life after the degree?
