Is Java fully object-oriented?

When learning any program (currently getting to grips with Java) do you find you forget everything very quickly if you don't regularly use the language? Is it possible to fully know a programming language?

  • Answer:

Forgetting is normal, but having that déjà vu feeling when you are going through the code again is also normal. Which in turn will make you want to look for where you have seen that code before. Always have enough reference sources and you'll be fine. I don't think anyone can completely learn a programming language. As you progress as a developer, you encounter newer and better ways of doing things that you were doing. One last thing, you'll definitely get rusty if you don't use the programming language frequently.
