I am a Doctor (E.N.T. specialist myself & married to a dentist) wanting to set up a clinic and settle down in Pune in the next two years or so. Which is the best suburb in Pune for me to set up a clinic / buy a home?

My uncle is a gynaecologist who has a private clinic , one day a lady died due to complications during childbirth , the next day my uncle was beaten up and his clinic ransacked. I do not recommend having clinics in unsafe neighbourhoods you would rather work at a hospital, however if you must own a clinic - Magarpatta City is the best option . You can walk to work , the neighbourhood is very safe and also it feels like a foreign country (seriously) its an excellently managed township.

I would say Baner. It is the best suburb to set up a clinic or to live. Its peaceful and is a good place to live. I have lived in various parts of Pune but never found any place better than Baner.
