How can I get into programming?

Where can one get information on how to MANUALLY input Assembly Language Programming for TI-86?

  • Need info on how to MANUALLY input Assembly Language Programming for TI-86.  There is no info in the Guidebook and customer support can't help either.  I already have access to, and info on, all the basic functions and features.  I need to know the basic assembly language commands.  The CPU, I believe, is the Z80.  I think it's related to the 8080 series.  In order to write code for it, I would need the 86's memory map, all the mnemonics, and any other related technical info on the machine.  Are there any books written about programming in assembly language on the TI-86?  I have no access to computer.  Can anyone help me?

  • Answer:

I know nothing about progamming but i don't think the intel 8080 and the z80 have much in common. I had a kaypro with a z80 and I seem to remember some incomprehensible to me documentation about programing. You might check with some of the still existing kapro users groups for documentation.
