    For brand loyalty Facebook is the best option because it has a very large user base as compared to the Twitter. But personally I will prefer both of them to be utilized for brand royalty.

Brand Loyalty is something which cannot be built on by publicizing on social media. Traditionally people offer certain incentives to consumers which encourages them to fall back on the manufacturer like- Customers enter codes found on specially marked packages of Coca-Cola products on a website. But in my opinion, it's all about the after-sale services that you offer which builds your Brand Loyalists Base. Consider the case of Dell, which is world renowned for its Technical Support that it offers. Dell boasts a Toll-Free Grievance Hotline and also they have great follow-up system in place which hardly leaves any customer dissatisfied. They even provide a replacement Laptop in case your Laptop problem can't be fixed on the spot. Top-notch isn't it?   Recently Dell India has increased its market share in the country's PC market to 23.1 per cent across segments while HP, which dominated the market in 2013 across product categories, stood second with a share of 20.4 per cent, followed by Lenovo ( 14.9 per cent) and Acer ( 10.9 per cent). So the methodology of building brand loyalist base depends on the type of your venture. Presuming your venture is a Internet based I would suggest the following- Always give a Personal Touch That is always try to respond to your potential customers through personal messages on Facebook,Twitter,etc which ever it might be i.e make them comfortable by making them feel that you took the pain of replying to them personally. Never Ever SPAM There is a fine line between promotion and Spam, make sure you end up on the right side of this line, cause nothing irritates a person than Spam. Although after certain point of time you would start using mass mail services like MailChimp, etc. Always keep up The Buzz! Keep your customers always updated about your new products, offers and achievements. Now the question arises what would be the better option of publicizing, Well this is the order you should in case you are well off Electronic Media>Print Media>Social Media But if you are a newbie then Social Media is your best bet. Of Course Facebook... On Facebook you have over 1 billion users, way ahead then twitter. No limitation of speaking your mind in just 140 characters. More user friendly and continuously evolving Privacy Policy. Facebook is percieved more to be public connecting platform and twitter more of Opinion Expression Platform. Although neither of the Platform should be neglected but more focus should be on Faceboook and relatively less focus on Twitter.

To create brand loyalty, social media platforms are just a support and not the main thing to do.Did P&G, Unilever or Nestle (among others) use any social media platform 50 years ago to build up the world best brands? Concentrate on your branding, product quality, packaging & design and distribution of the product properly and you will find consumers being loyal to your brand, some additional support form social media will also give it a boost.
