How do I update my local language in my Aadhar card?
-
I have an Aadhar card in my name and it was issued while I was in Mumbai, hence the local language is Marathi. Now, I have moved to Kolkata and I want the local language to be changed to Bengali. I have successfully updated my address etc. electronically and have got the updated card too but the language is still Marathi.

Answer:
There is nothing with the language to be changed or anything mandatory. The only thing that is important for you or any official whom you submitting is the aadhar card number. And I dont think UIDAI will change your language in aadhar card ones made.
