How To Make Tesla Generator?

Would it be possible to connect a portable generator to my Tesla Model S so that it recharges the battery while I am driving?

  I'm assuming this is more a theoretical question as the dangers of actually running a portable generator sitting in the trunk (with its tail pipe hanging out the back?) would be very significant. In that case the issue would be getting a generator that could generate as much power as the Tesla uses while driving. I'm not sure that would be too easy unless you drove very gently which you wouldn't want to do in Model S.
