    Apart from ART drugs, there are several precautions to be taken for HIV/AIDS patients. 1. Check their vitals. Especially their respiration rate. It should be around 15-20. Also observe them for laboured breathing. 2. Have them wear socks/sole padding and keep covered. WBC are compromised in numbers. So any fissure/would can fester really quickly instead of coagulating. 3. Make sure they don't catch any infection. Keep them in a cool, dry environment. Most AIDS deaths are due to other diseases, commonly pneumonia. 4. Monitor their diet. Make sure it has a lot of Vitamin K, D3 and Calcium. Also, enough of betacarotines and flavonoids are needed. Increase carbohydrates/fat ratio. 5. Show them to a grief counselor and let them do their things. If it makes them happy, it can always cure them.
