How do I Comment on a Blog?

How can I make people comment inside my blog post page instead of on LinkedIn?

• I run a stand-alone Wordpress-based blog on management. The blog uses Disqus for managing comments. I promote my posts through LinkedIn. People tend to leave comments on LinkedIn while leaving the comment section on my blog empty. I'd like the people who find my blog through Google also see the comments made by LinkedIn visitors. So, how do I make LinkedIn visitors leave comments inside my blog instead of LinkedIn?

  You can't. Aside from suggesting that they leave comments on your blog, you have no control over where they decide to comment. If you're actually posting the full article on LinkedIn, consider posting an excerpt so they will need to visit your blog to finish reading. This might encourage comments on your blog. Also, they might be deferring to LinkedIn if commenting on your blog takes too much effort. Simplify the process and make sure you have a clear call to action at the end of the article for discussions - a simple prompt is often enough. One final thought - are these all "real" comments? Sometimes people will post a generic comment or "nice article" to spread their name around but they aren't actually reading the article. I don't believe there is a way to block comments on LinkedIn posts, but might be worth looking through your settings.
