Which framework to use in my enterprise application?

What Framework should I use for my new cross-platform, database driven web application?

• My goal is to have a scalable database-driven app that is cross-platform (Design Web first, then Android/iOS standalone apps later). The framework will need to perform search operations fast both via natural language and with multiple types of input ( ie content of file uploads, data entry, api calls) which I know can be done in Ruby and Python, but not sure of others, or which is better. Cost of development and maintenance is also a consideration, so crazy languages that no one knows would not be likely to be used. I realize this is a common question, and that it often depends on "dealer's choice." I just genuinely would like input on what people feel is the best for this.

  If you are asking about feelings, I myself decide more based on what I know than what is the better. so I would use Java (Spring,hibernate) with SQL Server or Oracle.
