How do I clear links that have been clicked from google search?

What are the links between Google Search and Google+ posts?

  • I noticed that sharing a post on google+ lets to obtain results on google search - it immediately appears on first page for specific keywords included in the title. I find that it is great and would like to master the process better. So I would need some data related to google engineering. Especially, I would like to know if there is a technical way to maintain a google+ post longer in a google+ search. It seems that some weeks are the most long lifetime for first page. - Question was edited so that Google and Google+ engineers, programmers and analysts may answer if they wish and for the part they are allowed to. (No personal opinion without links and no prediction about the future of Google+ please)

  • Answer:

There was a time when Google cared about the most relevant result and wouldn't even consider manipulating the rankings to push traffic to their own destination. The Do No Evil mantra has long died however and Google+ is a great place to promote yourself. Not because people are using it much, but because Google wants people to use it. However, with the departure of Vic Gundotra, I would bet this trick won't last all that long. Eventually Google will give up on Plus.

Google+ posts do often show in search results before a Wordpress post if the Wordpress site is not well-linked and optimized both on-page and off-page success. Establishing yourself in Google+, developing followers and engaging in the communities that will help your business are a big part of search engine marketing (SEM), and you must keep the information fresh - so, no, the post will not stay up in the rankings. Constant writing, posting, and updating is the way to keep the users engaged and to keep Google looking at your site to see that it provides value, and thus is worthy to be listed at the top of the search engine result pages (SERPs).

Google+ is a product of Google - therefore, G+ Posts shows up on Google Search Results. On the other hand, if your post on WordPress has relevant keywords and has high quality content, it is likely to show up on Google Search Results. What you should always remember is that, anything that is important to Google should be important to you, if you want your posts to rank well on Google. Take a look at this http://bit.ly/1z4bTXk. I have also written a couple of posts on Google Plus. You can find them here: http://bit.ly/1jlTcax
