Will Verizon get the iPhone?

What is the best way to get a good deal on a newer, upgraded iPhone and Verizon data/mobile plan: by going to an Apple store, going to a Verizon retail store, or calling the Verizon website customer service team?

• It's May 1, 2014.  I am using a 3-year old iPhone 4 with a Verizon Wireless mobile/data plan.  I want to upgrade to the iPhone 5s.  A salesman at the Verizon Wireless retail store offered me this deal today: - new iPhone 5s for $199 - data/mobile/text plans ranging from about $50-$130/month depending on data usage - free Samsung tablet Is this the best deal I can get?  Could I do better by calling Verizon's online sales team?  Or by going to an Apple store?

  well, it is certainly better than you can get going to an Apple store.  Apple is not know for offering frills.  You get you phone and a basic plan from Apple. As for calling Verizon's online sales team... I do not think you would get a better deal.  I imagine both people in store and online get a commission if someone buys a phone from them, so, the incentives they can offer should not different much (if at all) I would say that is the best you can get... Unless they require the tablet have a data plan on it.  In which case, you probably can get the Tablet off being required to have a data plan.
