There's really nothing as fully rounded at Dynamics crm, which does most things effectively right out of the box, but it's got the high cost and development costs can be high too. Odoo, which used to be openerp, is the opposite: open source and free, but any development or add on can be costly to have done. I'm a fan of both of these because they both have options to tie into their own erp software and operate with sap, exchange, lotus, group wise/novell and lots of others.

Being a small business or a start-up unit, why, what, how, when often pops up in the entrepreneursâ mind, especially when it comes to CRM. My vote is for http://www.rolustech.com/sugarcrm-development-services.html. Many startups are already using http://www.rolustech.com/sugarcrm-development-services.html because it's a simple, flexible and [tbh, most] affordable CRM in the market right now. Why? Because: It is well-equipped to be more responsive to the actual needs and requirements of any startup. It allows software startups to easily integrate their customer-facing processes in order to build more profitable relationships with their customers. It offers unlimited customization and integration [such as Google Map, http://www.rolustech.com/blog/accounting-in-crm-no-problem/, http://www.rolustech.com/blog/ready-set-launch-rt-sugarbox/, WordPress] of third party applications which leads to robust business growth for startups. It brings far more value and control [yes, control does matter] to a startup as compare to other CRMs. Startups [usually] need a simple, flexible and user-friendly CRM because their main focus is to grow their business. They are focused on forging richer, deeper relationship with their customers. If you donât want your client to lose interest in you and turn to your bigger competitors, you definitely need a platform that is tailored according to your business needs and requirements.Source:- http://www.rolustech.com/blog/the-rising-crm-trends/ - http://www.rolustech.com/blog/how-to-pick-the-right-crm/

At a very early stage: paper, post-it, index crads and white board. It is: - Easy to set up and start using. No training required. No fiddling with cryptic settings .... - It becomes easy to visualize your workflow. - After a while it become clear what parts needs automation. Now you have list of requirements for your crm. Just pick the one that checks all your boxes. ps: you might find that paper is all you need.

I would say start with defining what do you want to use it for and how. For example, do you need an API and integrate it with your automated workflows? Probably a simple RESTful API will be easiest to integrate. Do you need some 3rd party integrations? Native or via an integrator like Zapier? Or will it be mostly manual with users updating the data? There's is no one simple answer, simply because there are lots of options, all of them with pros and cons, so it all depends on what you need. Generally you can start with 2 approaches: 1. Identify your CRM needs, your business processes, workflows, your goals and then give a few CRMs out there a try, see which one matches what you want best. Also think about your own users - are they tech savvy or not so much? 2. Start with the CRMs out there, give them a try and define your processes based on what the CRMs have to offer. Either way, you'll lose out if you don't try a few of these systems for yourself. When you do try a few of them out, have a look at our CRM as well: http://www.clevertim.com - while we don't claim to be the best, we have spent some time in trying to make the CRM as user friendly and easy to use as possible, while still having lots of features commonly found in most CRMs.

The biggest challenge of a start-ups or small businesses is that they have less amount of money to burn but still need all the advanced features of CRM. The current CRM market is over crowded with many different CRM applications and from years of experience of using different CRMs the biggest challenge I find is that most of the CRMs provide a fraction of the entire solution you need. For example one provides contact management tools, one provides document management and other provide help desk and customer support tool. So for a start up with a small team it becomes very difficult to manage cross functional communication. As a result the customer journey is lost while switching between different apps. Zyprr solves this exact problem that exists in this industry for years. It's simple, easy to use, highly customizable and solves all the above mentioned problems. It got Sales & CRM, Support & Helpdesk and Order Management Module- all zipped up in a single application. Managing the entire customer life cycle is very easy using this product. In a nutshell, Zyprr helps you to manage all your business tools in one social platform, track every interaction of your customer journey and build a customer relationship that lasts.
