I am trying to find a Bluetooth adpater to attach to a set of powered speakers?

What I want to do should be very simple yet it seems almost impossible to find anything that fits the bill and what little I can see is of such dubious quality its very off putting. I want to add a bluetooth adaptor to a set of powered speakers (or an amp) via a typical 3.5mm jack or standard phono plugs so that I can stream from iPhone, iPad via bluetooth. In other words, replace the speaker cable that I have to plug into the headset jack on the iPad. Any suggested products?
