Should I use the App Page or a Fan Page to promote a Facebook Connect enabled website?
-
We're using FB Connect, and will shortly be using other API methods to send messages from our website to people Facebook friends, walls, and so on. We've got the App page that comes with the App ID, as well as a Fan Page that has been languishing for a while. Since we're pretty much starting from zero should we concentrate our effort on the App page or the Fan page?

Answer:
My understanding is that with the App page you will have a lot more control, especially if you're planning on adding more advanced FB Connect functionality to your site. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to migrate "fans" from one's Fan page to the App page, so the sooner you switch to an App the better IMHO.
