What is Web Development?

What is the best way for a mobile app development geek to get involved with web development?

• I have rich experience in Android, iOS and done many apps.. Started my Startup last month. I want to make myself comfortable in Web development to manage the web team better than what I am doing now. Can you tell me how to proceed with learning web development ? P.S I have good knowledge in Git, Design Patterns, UX and UI designing, Algorithms etc. Thanks a lot.

  Practice makes a man perfect .. -------------------------------- This may the things that you may become expert .. First try building simple and sample pages of your own .. Surf some web desigining blogs like cssreflex or others continously .. Then look for some snippets of code (say CSS3 spinner/loader) and add it to your simple page .. Also save the every snippet as a seperate file in some folder .. Then spend your time in reading blog again and again and you will find new snippet and same process repeats .. finally after some days you will be having a lot of snippets how to use , where to use and finally you may choose and combine these snippets for building a complete webpage .. ---------------------------------- This may be the order that you may become an professional .. First try building simple and sample pages of your own .. Then build a webpage to describe yourself, i mean like web page as your resume .. Then try building more cool and host your simple sites in free webhosting sites, so that you can have a domain for you to publish .. Then build a webpage for little professional for your college symposium or for friends college or other little duration purpose .. Then have a blog in a wordpress or in other blog account .. Then download a wordpress and purchase a domain and host it as your own website ..
