Texas school want to accept Texas residents. these are the only two states in the US that operate this way when it comes down to its med schools. In state tuition is cheaper and she has scholarship money to Santa Clara. Should this even be a question? Also, know this, the med school doesn't matter once M.D. is behind the name. What matter is landing the residency slot and having the least amount of debt. Don't get to caught up on the med school because the loans will have to be paid back.
