What is the importance of special needs education?

SO HRD MINISTER NEEDS QUANTITY RATHER THAN QUALITY BY PROPOSING IIT IN EVERY STATE? THIS SHOWS THE CAPACITY OF THE PERSON'S THINKING - ONE NEEDS EDUCATION TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF PRIDE IN EDUCATION. IIT IS OUR NATION'S PRIDE.

  I personally am of the opinion, that IITs NITs are a tremendous waste of money and resources. At a time, when most of the youth of our country are not being educated, I think the more wise decision would be to first go for quantity(they should have done this at the time of independence). Get everybody to school first. Then get everybody to graduate college. After that, start improving the quality and aim for world class institutes. Instead of 1 IIT, so many more colleges can be opened which can educate far more many number of people. It is no secret, many (and by many, the figures generally tend to be be north of 50%) of the students in these premier institutes just ultimately end up doing excelsheel work and doing consultancy work. While I do not look down upon management and consultancy firms, it is to be remembered that the country has paid a lot for the technical education of this person. And all that money is down the drain, as no technical returns are being made.. I do not mean to berate students in IITs or NITs, but this a testament of the environment in these premier institutes. Because of the end-all-jee culture, most students think getting into these premier institutes is the end of life, and for a variety of other reasons, ranging from lack of technical inquisitiveness to infra to exposure to faculty quality; students generally loose their technical aptitude and/or loose interest in their respective field. So, while setting up more IITs exactly doesn't fit into my opinion of right choice, I feel it is still a good move, as more number of people get good quality of higher education, and thus we add a little bit more of technicians to our country. P.S The caps just make you sound rude. In the internet lingo, caps are synonyms to shouting. Loose the caps.
