What kinds of jobs are available in San Diego for people looking to go into diversity and inclusion?
-
A friend is looking to move out to San Diego, coming from the federal government with a focus on diversity and inclusion and looking to move into the private sector. There don't seem to be very many big corporate headquarters (except Sony, Qualcomm, and PETCO). What opportunities are available for someone with soft skills, specifically in D&I?

Answer:
Not too sure what types of jobs are available, but you can inquire for diversity and inclusions jobs at Sony, Qualcomm, Sempra Energy, Wells Fargo, Costco, etc. You can also try non profits that that support diversity, such as Council for Supplier Diversity, Women's Business Enterprise National Council, National Association of Women Business Owners, and more.
