Which are the best and worst states of India?

Will India eventually disintegrate as forward looking states cannot stand the influx of migrants from backward states, which ironically account for more than half of the total population?

  • The states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are a burden to the growth of India, as their contribution to India's GDP is negligible, while the combined population of these states are approx. two-thirds of the total population of India. Much worse, the politicians(esp. Lalu and Mulayam) from these states control the Parliament (UP alone has 81 seats in Lok Sabha out of a sanctioned strength of 552 seats) making it impossible to pass any useful legislation (33% reservation to women is strongly opposed by both SP and BSP). In this scenario, how does the influx of migrants from these states to other forward states, where people are educated and hence population growth has stagnated, contribute to the integration of India? If these states' people and leadership can't do anything in the last 64 years, why should forward states like PB,MH,KL,TN,etc. have to bear this burden which is a hurdle for their development? Isn't this gross unfair?

  • Answer:

Adding to this the migrants don't want to learn local language (leave the culture) and enforce the locals to learn their language. They have utter disdain for local language. If we enforce these people to learn local language they say that we are anti-nationals saying we are against Hindi.

Mass emigration is always unfair to any local demography. But it is cleverly engineered across the globe by tactful capitalists. Now coming to your view- “Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are a burden to the growth of India” sounds a little biased. States like, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Assam are mineral rich and most industries that run in YOUR states are fueled by coal, minerals extracted from these states (legally and illegally). Ex. NTPC extracts most of its coal from Odisha. Most of the coal mafias, Mining Mafias who control the mines in these states are from YOUR states. And the royalty, these states get in return from govt is much less then what your states get. Hence people of these states can say that you people are LOOTING their minerals, snatching away industries through state lobby with more number of MPs and demography, and discriminating them in work places when they go to work in industries in YOUR states running on raw material/fuel taken from their states!!!! Speaking of being progressive, a RESERVATION on the basis of gender/cast/religion doesn't sound like a useful legislation ;(I am open to argument on this point) everything UP/Bihar govt oppose is not good necessarily.             If national wealth is distributed among all states equally by creating self sustained new cities in poorer states then naturally they will not need to emigrate. For this rich states must help poor ones. We can stand for each other while maintaining our unique cultural identities, all it will take is to work as a team.

These MH,KL,TN had been safe throughout the history because there were people in the northern part of this country who were fighting invaders constantly . And what burden are u talking about . The industries in these states take resource from MP ,Chhatisgarg,Jharkhand what if a north indian the says that people from these southern states are a burden on our resources .Today u r saying its unfair between states .But after some time u will start saying some districts in ur state are more developed than other .Then u will say some areas in ur city are more developed that other areas . Then next day u will say some houses or families are more developed than other .Where will this stop . Even within ur family u can say some people earn more than others  .
