Who has better job prospects and salary, Environmental Biologists or Environmental Chemists?

I am planning to do my Master's in US. I was thinking about job prospects and average salary which is around 70-80K. But I had a weird thought. What if 1 dollar becomes equal to 1 rupee? It means my salary will be equal to 70K rupees.  In how many years we can expect this?

    Wages are unlikely to equalise in the lifetime of anyone reading this.   Changes in the value of currency units are possible but need not matter.  Japanese yen are worth less than a rupee but wages are much higher.

It depends on the answer to where do you want to settle ?? If the answer is usa, then you need not worry as the income would be more than the expenditure, and even the indian economy cannot unstablize it. If the answer is india, yeah you might end up having a debt of 20 laks approx But it would take atleast a 6-7 decades for 1re to be equal to 1usd(a guess) and it wouldnt happen soon, thats for sure.

It is highly unlikely and at least not in our life time. But then if at all it happens then salary will be on par with what you would get in India. So you won't lose out much.
