What are the best open source virtual machines available for Mac OS X?

I am looking to run Linux virtual machines on Mac OS X. What are some recommendations for good open source VM's that are available?

Answer:
Virtualbox is best option for MAC. Virtualbox was partly open sourced (at least till 2 years back). I haven't checked the source code myself. VMware is closed completely whereas Xen does support MAC O/S. Here is webpage for Virtualbox: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
