How can I watch my security cameras online?

Is it illegal to watch security cameras if their web interface has no security?

  In most states, what would determine whether it's legal for you to view these cameras or not would simply depend on whether or not you are authorized or have permission (implied or express) to view them.  Viewing a webcam when you're not authorized or do not have permission to do so would likely be a violation of some form of unauthorized use of computer equipment law in whatever jurisdiction (1) you live in, and/or (2) the camera is located in.This answer is not a substitute for professional legal advice....
