How to remove Chrome from Mac?

How do you keep someone from uninstalling an extension on Google Chrome OS?

  • I know somebody that is wanting to buy a ChromeBook for their child. On that ChromeBook, they want to install a Chrome extension called Blocksi that is a web filter. The only thing is, the child can remove the extension very easily. Is there any way that on Chrome OS, the parent can stop the child from removing/disabling the extension? I've read other articles for how to do it on a Mac or pc, but not on Chrome OS.

    There isn't any option available in chrome extension to stop them from getting uninstalled/disabled or making them password protected. But I have an alternative for the same, which can work for you :) Install TinyFilter - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tinyfilter/nlfgnnlnfbpcammlnibfkplpnbbbdeli?hl=en to block content which does have a password protect option using a force extensions registery policy from http://www.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3 There are several other ways to block the websites you don't want your kids to access, Let me know if you need. it's easy :) You have to go to the app launcher and right click on the app you want to delete. For extension the process is same as for the chrome browser, you have to uninstall it from browser. For further info follow this link https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2589434?hl=en
