What is the best tour package?

What is the best Kerala tour package for a one-week tour?

  • There are hundreds of websites available on net with 7-8 days Kerala tour packages including govt. ones. But confused which one to choose for family holidays in August. Places I'd like to visit are Cochin, Munnar, Thekkday, Alleppey, Idukki and enjoy houseboat cruises. Please suggest me an ideal package to enjoy maximum with my dear ones.

  • Answer:

Cochin, Munnar, Thekkday, Alleppey (house boats),Idukki. Out of this remove Munnar (just green grasses and some water bodies), Idukki (weed and dams??!!)  and Cochin (Athirappally waterfalls and a water theme park is there, go if you are intersted). Include Wayanad (trekking and stuff), Vagamon (much better than Munnar) and Trivandrum (beaches, museums, zoo and stuff).

If you start from Thiruvananthapuram stay there for 1 night 2 days. From there go to Kochi with a stop-over for 1 night at Perinad. From Kochi go to Guruvayur and then further up to Calicut (Kozhikod). From there end your journey at Munnar with the beauty of natural peace on earth.
