Is it easier to get a job in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science?

I am in my 3rd year of computer science and engineering in India and my overall percentage is 55%. I am proficient in C, C++ and Embedded C. What will be the job scenario for me? Can I get a job?

    Do certification courses. And proficient mean truly proficient. http://cdac.in/index.aspx?id=ccrs Almost every sate has one CDAC centre. Just explore them. You may not find all of them here. http://nptel.ac.in/courses.php There are some proper certification courses here too. Few months back there was an online course on Android programming by University of London which also gave a certificate on payment. Keep in mind that that certificate is given only if you submit all assignment and finish the course. So keep a lookout for different courses like it.
