What is the Academic and social life like at College?

What advice would you give to a 22-year-old college graduate that wasted his opportunities for social life in college and is depressed over it?

• 22 year old engineering major, strict parents that paid for college put a lot of pressure on me, could not manage time well enough to make friends with people and party a lot, worked, and I really want to just go back for an arts degree and do college all over again even if it puts me in debt.

  Why are you posting my biography? It works out in the end.  Don't go into debt, though.  Get a job doing something that makes you look forwward to getting out of bed every morning, and pays enough to put something aside.  Use that to take courses, even if you can't carry a full class load. And live life.  Life isn't a degree, it's what happens to change all our plans.  Never consider anything closed off to you forever - leave yourself open.  You never know.  (I'm 73 and I still don't know.)
