Is private Job better then Government Job?

Which is Better Government Bank Job or Private Manufacturing Job for MBA Finance?

• Got an offer from Best PSU bank in India at post of Manger Finance but fully confused whether to join it or not as currently working in a Manufacturing Concern as Assistant Manager Drawing a salary little more than what I will get in Government Bank. Confusion is whether I go for PSU Job as I also need Security in Job also I don’t want to cry for my decision. Please Help…..

  When looking at two different jobs you joules ask yourself what is more important to you; your money or your time? Jobs that pay more tend to expect more of your time. My wife works for a bank and while she doesn't work crazy hours she is expected to be always available on her blackberry.  I worked for a city government agency for awhile and I never gave my job half a second though outside of work hours.  You mentioned security of work...if that is your primary concern then the answer should be clear to you but make sure you are positive that is the most important thing to you.
