Po Campo bags. They're made for cycling so they're fade-resistant and water-resistant, but they're really pretty purses that don't look bike-y. Besides attaching easily to a bike rack or handlebars (depending on which model you get) they can also attach to stroller handlebars for the mom market, and on some of them the attachment straps that usually hook them to the bike can be used to carry a rolled-up yoga mat. I've been in search of the perfect purse for a long time and I love my Po Campo bags--not just for my bike commute but as really functional purses. Their Loop Pannier holds my 13" ThinkPad just fine, and I've also wedged it crossways into the Logan Tote (which holds a ton of stuff). (Both are pictured in a review I wrote a while back; hope it's okay to include the link: http://bikestylespokane.com/2011/05/17/the-search-for-the-perfect-purse-it-may-just-be-a-bike-bag/)

My favourite would have to be the large Longchamp Neo tote because.. * It's functional. * It's stylish - Unlike the nylon Le Pliage, the flap and handle on the Neo are in matching colour with the bag, which, I reckon, automatically makes it look much more stylish. * It can quite easily go from day to night. * It can fit lots of things in it, including a laptop. * It has a detachable strap, so, you can use it cross body, as a sling or as a tote. * It's lightweight - This has become so important to me as I used to carry around a leather satchel with brass details. With regular stuff, it's fine but not anymore once the laptop goes in! * It's pretty durable. * It's water resistant. * It's pretty easy to clean (though picking a darker colour would be much easier). The only (minor) downside may be that it doesn't have compartments but nothing that can't be fixed with a bag organizer. Plus, I already have a cover for my laptop.

Bags are really an addiction to most women, and as is easily the black hole where only we can find stuff. Hence, I always have a bunch of them. Because as my mom always said, pretty bags never really help you carry anything. She always wanted me to buy her the huge bags. Buy a pretty Tote: These are perfect for your daily use and really good for people who need to travel a lot. You could choose one with a good print and not worry about it being dirtied, as a result of your day-to-day activities. And, it can pretty much carry everything! Bucket Bag: A bucket bag of leather can really be the perfect dumping ground and has helped me carry everything from my pen to everything I need for work. Product on http://www.redpolka.com/3. Good ol’ canvas bag: It’s not very pretty looking but everything you need can be squeezed into it’s helpful compartments Courtesy: http://www.jabong.com/

I love a good crossbody bag for casual, day-to-day wear. Something like that is perfect for a laptop (depending on the size though) and other odds and ends you may need. Lots of places sell them, but if you want something a bit more classy, I recommend Botkier. They sell designer crossbody bags at a great price so you're getting something a bit more substantial in quality (and at a better price even!) http://www.botkier.com/handbags/crossbody
