Can i complete my graduation in one year?

I have decided to take a one-year break after graduation now. How can I best utilize my time?

  • I am an engineering pass-out. I bagged a job in the campus placement but I'm not taking it up so that I can prepare for CAT,GMAT next year. Plus,I wanted to take a break and explore. Please suggest what can I do to best utilize my time I know a lot of you would recommennd travelling but as much I would love to,yet I cannot.

  • Answer:

This is a crazy world with lots of distraction. With smart phones that beep every time we get an email or facebook notification. you will find people telling you to reduce your time spent on social networking and internet. But we can't do that right. So, rather than reducing time on internet, we can rearrange our schedule to best utilize our time. All of us know that, when we try to focus on a work, it takes abut 15-20 min to actually focus on it. what we can do is reduce this focus time by sticking to one work for an extended period of time. It will be surprising to see the hike in performance if we just turn off our net

That is the case with me as well…Now im a 4th year guy of ECE from a local college in Hyderabad… My profile is pretty fair to get a placement in any company for a fair package..But I my passion does not totally overlap with the job I would do in the company…. Hence I decided to take a year break and explore myself and develop my skills and get into the best college to pursue my post graduation…. So this is how I think I will spend my year after my 2nd sem.. ie….. collegeWork in an NGO for sometime.Learn python language ( useful for embedded system core programming)Learn Java and Javascript ( OOP)Learn French ( always wanted to learn)Do an internship related to my fieldAnd then other in computer networkng (both would help me do my best in my PG)Improve my general knowledgeAnd most importantly….. Maintain discipline to do all of that…( that I have already started doing so that it would be a routine to keep me on track)Not:--Now having said all of that…. I want to remind you that it is a plot for the future and does not contain any kind of probabilistic outcome..I'm open to any kind of suggestions and thanks for reading :-)
