What to see in Scotland in less than 4 days?

How many days should I spend on the Isle of Skye, Scotland this summer and with that given time frame, what should I see/do?

  • Answer:

At least a week I reckon, if you can. Do you know what area you will be staying in? There's lots to see and do, but it's all pretty spread out so you will need transport. I grew up in a village in the north of the island, near Dunvegan. I would recommend Dunvegan castle, the seat of the clan Macleod, where you can see The Fairy Flag, among other things. The castle also has lovely grounds and a cafe. Ooh and there are boat trips to see the nearby seal colony. Dunvegan also has one of the best restaurants, The Old School.  Portree is also good for food and history. There is a cultural centre called The Aros centre that has exhibitions. Are you into hillwalking? Practically everywhere is good for that!
