Thank God...they're back. Angles is the re-emergence of the tight riffs, hazy vocals, and constant, synchronized drumming presence from the group we all wish subscribed to the Arctic Monkeys slightly more prolific subject manner. Time will tell where this album fits in their litany, but it seems (wishful thinking) that they're only just getting started.

Angles is up to the Strokes standard, but still my favourite is Room on Fire.

If it is compared to their debut album Is This It (2001), then I would say that it is kind of a let down. But it certainly is an improvement from their last two records Room on Fire (2003) and First Impressions of Earth (2006), which I thought were pretty lackluster.
